Clark Gregg teasing a Hawkeye appearance for Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.?

December 19, 2014 by Gary Collinson

We heard earlier this month that Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will somehow lead / tie in to Marvel’s hugely-anticipated May sequel Avengers: Age of Ultron, but could Jeremy Renner’s Clint Barton be a part of that? Well, Agent Coulson himself Clark Gregg may have just teased a Hawkeye appearance in the show, with the actor posting the following panel from Secret Avengers #10 to his Facebook page…

Should Hawkeye make a guest appearance, Jeremy Renner would be following in the footsteps of MCU stars such as Cobie Smulders, Samuel L. Jackson and Jaimie Alexander, all of whom have reprised their roles for episodes of the ABC series. And of course, a Hawkeye appearance would surely be a huge ratings boost for the show, and a chance to plug the release of Age of Ultron. Not that it needs the extra promotion, of course…

Would you like to see Hawkeye in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.?
