Nicole Perlman and Meg LeFauve tapped to write Captain Marvel

April 14, 2015 by Thomas Roach

Nicole Perlman and Meg LeFauve are reportedly being tapped to pen the upcoming Captain Marvel movie, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Marvel reportedly want to have female writers for their first female led project. At this time Marvel have refused to comment and will wait until contracts are signed before making any official announcement. Perlman has recently co-written Guardians of the Galaxy with James Gunn, while Meg LeFauve has penned the screenplay for Pixar’s Inside Out.

As of yet, no actress has been cast in the role of Captain Marvel. The film is set for release July 6th, 2018.
