Samuel L. Jackson is no stranger to the galaxy far, far away, having placed Mace Windu in the Star Wars prequel trilogy, and he sat down with Peter Travers recently to discuss his work on The Hateful Eight. With The Force Awakens grabbing many headlines at the moment, the two did briefly discuss what the former Jedi master thought of the resurrection of the franchise.

“It’s done in the spirit of the Star Wars films,” he says diplomatically. “It’s adventuresome and exciting in a way. I think the kids need to go to lightsaber fight school, but that’s just me thinking that. They’ve got time to get better.”
