Deadpool crosses $500 million worldwide

February 25, 2016 by Gary Collinson

With its third weekend approaching, 20th Century Fox’s Deadpool has passed a box office milestone, with the film crossing the half-billion mark worldwide, having pulled in $513 million around the globe so far.

Deadpool is the highest-grossing instalment of the X-Men franchise in North America, but trails X-Men: Days of Future Past globally, with the Bryan Singer-directed film having earned $747.9 million back in 2014. However, current predictions have suggested that Deadpool could earn as high as $800 million in total, but we’ll likely have a much better idea when the dust settles on the box office this coming weekend.
