Bob Odenkirk teases the possibility of a Breaking Bad spin-off

April 12, 2013 by admin

When AMC’s Breaking Bad comes to an end this summer, it may not be the last time we see one particular character. According to Bob Odenkirk, who plays lawyer Saul Goodman on the show, he and series creator Vince Gilligan have been discussing a possible spin-off.

Odenkirk spoke with Vulture about the possibility of a spin-off saying, “Vince is still really busy with the show so we haven’t talked very in-depth about it, but he clearly thinks it’s a possibility. And I’ve certainly told him that if there was some way to see more of Saul then I would be happy to do it. It would be fun.”

As of right now the show is in the very early stages as both Gilligan and Odenkirk have only mentioned it being a possibility. If it was done right, I would definitely watch a show with Saul as the main character. Odenkirk does a great job playing the character and he deserves to finally have a shot at a leading role. We’ll probably have to wait until Breaking Bad ends before we hear anymore news about this.
