Jason Momoa in talks for Batman vs. Superman

December 10, 2013 by admin

Having secured the Dark Knight (Ben Affleck) and the Amazon Princess (Gal Gadot), it seems that casting on Batman vs. Superman is moving full steam ahead, with various sources reporting that Jason Momoa (Game of Thrones, Conan the Barbarian) is in talks with Warner Bros. about taking on a role in the upcoming Man of Steel sequel.

At present, there’s no word on which role Momoa is up for, although speculation from The Hollywood Reporter has identified both Doomsday and Martian Manhunter as possibilities, even though we have no confirmation about either of the characters featuring in David S. Goyer’s script.

Batman vs. Superman is set for release on July 17th 2015, with Zack Snyder directing a cast that also includes returning Man of Steel stars Henry Cavill (Clark Kent / Superman), Amy Adams (Lois Lane), Diane Lane (Martha Kent) and Laurence Fishburne (Perry White).
