Steven R. McQueen has not been cast as Nightwing in Arrow

June 25, 2014 by Gary Collinson

If you follow The Vampire Diaries star Steven R. McQueen on Twitter, then chances are you’ll have noticed his various teases suggesting that he’s could be set to join the cast of The CW’s hit superhero show Arrow in the role of Nightwing.

However it seems he’s just been trying to drum up support, with the actor admitting to The Wrap that he hasn’t bagged the role of the former Boy Wonder, but would jump at the chance should it present itself:

“It’s a great story that hasn’t really been told. You know, if I get a chance to play a superhero, I can’t make any promises that I’m not going to run with it.”

Would you like to see McQueen as Nightwing? Let us know your thoughts….
