Jack Bauer to return for more 24?

July 21, 2014 by Gary Collinson

Despite the fact that leading man Kiefer Sutherland has indicated that 24: Live Another Day would mark the final adventure for Jack Bauer – and the fact that the miniseries failed to recapture the ratings of the first eight season – it seems that Fox chairman and CEO Peter Rice could be open to renewing the long-running series for a tenth season…

“I loved this year’s season of 24, I’ve always been a fan,” said Rice at the Television Critics Association press tour. “We haven’t had a specific conversation [about renewing the show]. I’m sure we will in the future. It’s a wonderful franchise. They did a great job this year and when you look at the show itself, it has many more stories to tell.”

Would you like to see 24 back for a tenth season, or is it time for Jack Bauer to head off into a well-deserved retirement?
