Watch the music video for Better Call Saul: The Song

October 6, 2014 by Gary Collinson

We’ve seen a couple of brief teasers for Better Call Saul [see here and here], and now AMC has given us another peek at the upcoming Breaking Bad spin-off with a music video for ‘Better Call Saul: The Song’, which has been written by show creators Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould and Breaking Bad composer Dave Porter, with country musician Junior Brown perfoming. Unfortunately, the official video below is only playable within the U.S., but there’s a low quality version below that should work worldwide. Check it out below…

Set six years before Saul Goodman meets Walter White. When we meet him, the man who will become Saul Goodman is known as Jimmy McGill, a small-time lawyer searching for his destiny, and, more immediately, hustling to make ends meet. Working alongside, and, often, against Jimmy, is “fixer” Mike Ehrmantraut, a beloved character introduced in ‘Breaking Bad.’ The series will track Jimmy’s transformation into Saul Goodman, the man who puts “criminal” in “Criminal lawyer.” The series’ tone is dramatic, wove with dark humor.

Better Call Saul is set to premiere in February 2015, with AMC airing the show in the States and Netflix snapping up the UK rights. Bob Odenkirk (Saul Goodman) and Jonathan Banks (Mike Ehremantraut) reprise their roles from Breaking Bad, alongside new cast additions Michael McKean (This Is Spinal Tap), Rhea Seehorn (Whitney), Patrick Fabvian (The Last Exorcism) and Michael Mando (Orphan Black).
