Don’t expect to see more of Harley Quinn in Arrow

March 9, 2015 by Gary Collinson

Last year Harley Quinn made the briefest of cameo appearances in the ‘Suicide Squad’ episode of Arrow’s second season [watch it here], giving fans hope that the fan favourite villain could be set for further appearances in Starling City somewhere down the line.

Since then, Warner Bros. has announced that Harley is set for her big screen debut, with Margot Robbie (The Wolf of Wall Street) set to portray the character in 2016’s Suicide Squad, and it seems that has put paid to any plans the Arrow producers may have had.

According to Comic Book Resources, Arrow executive producer Marc Guggenheim addressed the possibility of a future appearance in the show during the Long Beach Comics Expo last weekend by replying that between Gotham and the Suicide Squad movie, the closest they could come is the “wink and a nod” from the previous season.

Are you disappointed that Harley won’t be popping up in Arrow again?
