Gary Anthony Williams is Bebop in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2

Deadline is this reporting the news that actor and comedian Gary Anthony Williams (Boston Legal) has been cast as classic TMNT villain Bebop for next summer’s blockbuster sequel Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II.

A mutated pig character that can be seen wrecking havoc with his fellow mutant Rocksteady, Bebop works for the Turtles’ arch-nemesis Shredder. In the sequel, Bebop will be a member of a misfit street punk group who believes he is intellectually superior to all the other members.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II is being directed by David Green (Earth to Echo) and sees the return of Megan Fox (April O’Neil), Alan Ritchson (Raphael), Noel Fisher (Michelangelo), Pete Ploszek (Leonardo), Jeremy Howard (Donatello), William Richtner (Erick Sacks), Will Arnett (Vernon Fenwick), Danny Woodburn (Splinter) and new additions Stephen Amell (Arrow) as Casey Jones, Tyler Perry (Gone Girl) as Baxter Stockman, Brian Tee (The Wolverine) as The Shredder, Gary Anthony Williams (Boston Legal) as Bebop and Alessandra Ambrosio (Casino Royale) and Laura Linney (The Fifth Estate). The film will hit cinemas on June 3rd 2016.
