Leo Fitzpatrick joins Gotham season 2

With season two of Gotham being billed as “The Rise of the Villains”, Deadline is reporting that Leo Fitzpatrick (The Wire) has signed on for a recurring bad guy role in the Batman prequel series.

According to the site, Fitzpatrick will play the original character Joe Pike, the leader of a notorious gang of arsonists known as the Pike Brothers.

Gotham is set to return to Fox on September 21st, with series regulars Ben McKenzie, David Mazouz, Robin Lord Taylor, Camren Bicondova, Cory Michael Smith, Erin Richards, Morena Baccarin, Donal Logue, Sean Pertwee, Drew Powell, Nicholas D’Agosto and Chris Chalk joined by new additions such as James Frain as Theo Galavan, Jessica Lucas as Tabitha Galavan/Tigress, Natalie Alyn Lind as Silver St. Cloud and Michael Chiklis as Captain Nathaniel Barnes.
