Kate Mara pokes fun at Fantastic Four’s poor box office

September 18, 2015 by admin

Having already admitted that she hasn’t seen Josh Trank’s maligned adaptation of Fantastic Four, Kate Mara has now started to poke fun at the comic book movie.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight to promote her latest film The Martian, Mara joked about the poor box office takings of Fantastic Four by sarcastically saying the movie, “was the biggest success. I just want to put it out there.”

When the interviewer noted that he had yet to see the movie, Mara quickly noted, “neither did the rest of the world.”

On the topic of The Martian, her final comments about the movie were rather telling about the reportedly horrible production of Fantastic Four: “I’ve certainly been a part of movies that people are not very thrilled about. So it’s nice to be in something people love, that you loved working on.”
