Kelly Rohrbach to play C.J. Parker in Baywatch movie

January 4, 2016 by Gary Collinson

Dwayne Johnson has taken to Instagram to reveal that model-turned actress Kelly Rohrbach has joined the cast of the Baywatch movie as C.J. Parker, the role played by Pamela Anderson in the original TV series. The Rock made the announcement on Instagram, where he also put Rohrbach’s slow motion running skills to the test…

A pleasure welcoming @kellyrohrbach to our #BAYWATCH family for the iconic role of "CJ Parker". Yes, she's a walking smoke stack but more importantly… she's smart, tough and funny. Just the way we like 'em. Get ready world, we can't wait to bring you our generation's #BAYWATCH! You'll have fun… ???????????????????????? (last emoji somewhat inappropriate).

For our #BAYWATCH and the iconic role of "CJ Parker" I had to make sure @kellyrohrbach was ridiculously sexy running in SLO-MO….

Baywatch will mark Rohrbach’s biggest role to date, having previously appeared in the likes of Two and a Half Men, Rizzoli & Isles and The PET Squad Files. She is also set to appear in Woody Allen’s as-yet-untitled next project.

Baywatch is set for release in 2017, with Seth Gordon (Horrible Bosses) directing a cast that also includes Zac Efron (Dirty Grandpa) and Alexandra Daddario (San Andreas).
