Rumour: Multiple death scenes filmed for Captain America: Civil War

January 20, 2016 by Luke Owen

Warning – possible spoilers below…

With Captain America: Civil War just a few months away, the rumour mill has started to spin about which characters going to make it to the next stage of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. As you may recall, Joss Whedon filmed two death scenes for Avengers: Age of Ultron – one with Quicksilver and one with Hawkeye – as a mis-direct to avoid spoilers getting out. And if this new source is to be believed, the Russo Brothers have done the same thing.

The source (via The Hashtag Show) says that they’ve filmed death scenes for Falcon, Warhammer (formally War Machine) and Scarlet Witch. If the source is to be believed, one of these Avengers will join the already rumoured death of Captain America – and word is that will it be Scarlet Witch who perishes, prompting The Vision to head into space and setting the stage for Avengers: Infinity War.

It should be noted that the video does claim that War Machine’s name has been changed to Warhammer (which was rumoured a few months back), but the official merchandise released by Funko still names the character War Machine.
