Game of Thrones cinematographer to shoot Justice League

April 11, 2016 by Gary Collinson

It looks like Zack Snyder won’t be reuniting with his frequent collaborator Larry Fong on Justice League Part One, with cinematographer Fabian Wagner set to step in as his replacement for the DC ensemble, which has commenced production today.

The news broke courtesy of Wagner’s resume on his agency website, with Fong then taking to Twitter to reveal that scheduling conflicts are preventing him from linking up with Snyder once again:

Schedule conflicts are not uncommon in this biz. But don’t worry, the amazingly talented Mr. Wagner will kill it. https://t.co/oDQdQZ7U2p

Justice League will be Wagner’s highest-profile gig to date, having previously shot episodes of Sherlock, The White Queen, Da Vinci’s Demons and Game of Thrones., as well as the feature films The Legend of Barney Thomson and Victor Frankenstein.

Fong has previously collaborated with Snyder on 300, Watchmen, Sucker Punch and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. He recently finished work on Kong: Skull Island, which is set for release in 2017.
