The LEGO Ninjago Movie voice cast reportedly revealed

June 26, 2016 by Gary Collinson

In the wake of The LEGO Movie’s success, Warner Bros. wasted no time in announcing a sequel to the animated movie, along with a couple of spinoffs for 2017 in The LEGO Batman Movie and The LEGO Ninjago Movie.

While we’ve already seen a couple of teaser trailers for LEGO Batman [watch them here and here], things have been deathly quiet on the Ninjago front. However, the official Twitter account shared – and subsequently deleted – a tweet which appears to have given away the voice cast for the animated film:

Master Wu – Jackie Chan
Lloyd – Dave Franco
Kai – Michael Pena
Nya – Abbi Jacobson
Jay – Kumail Nanjiani
Zane – Zach Woods
Cole – Fred Armisen

Ninjago is the story of six young ninja tasked with defending their island home, called Ninjago. By night, they’re gifted warriors, using their skills and awesome fleet of vehicles to fight villains and monsters. By day, they’re ordinary teens struggling against their greatest enemy: high school.

The LEGO Ninjago Movie is set for release on September 22nd, 2017.
