SDCC: Teen Wolf to end with season 6, Comic-Con trailer released

During its panel at the San Diego Comic-Con International yesterday, MTV announced that Teen Wolf is to come to an end with the upcoming sixth and final season.

“Teen Wolf has been an extraordinary journey, one that captured the hearts and imaginations of fans more than we could’ve ever imagined,” said executive producer Jeff Davis, who appeared at the panel alongside stars Tyler Posey, Holland Roden, Dylan Sprayberry, Cody Christian and Khylin Rhambo. “We’re eternally grateful for the support we’ve received over these past six years and we’re excited to take our brave fans on one last, thrilling adventure.”

As part of the panel, MTV also unveiled a trailer which introduces the season’s villain, the Ghost Riders. Check it out here…

The wild hunt is coming and no one is safe. Don’t forget: the final season of Teen Wolf begins in November.

Teen Wolf follows the story of Scott McCall (Tyler Posey), a teenager who is bitten by a werewolf and becomes one himself. Now he must figure out how to balance the challenging curse along with all the normal struggles of high school. With the help of his friends, Scott learns how to protect the ones he loves, become a stronger werewolf, and tackle life one day at a time.
