Supergirl and Gotham return to series low ratings

April 26, 2017 by Gary Collinson

Coming off extended winter breaks, The DC shows Supergirl and Gotham returned to The CW and Fox respectively this past Monday, and the irregular scheduling certainly didn’t help with the ratings, as both shows suffered series lows.

Supergirl’s episode ‘Ace Reporter’ [read our review here] pulled in 1.8 million viewers for a 0.5 rating in its key demo and a new series low, while Gotham’s ‘How The Riddler Got His Name’ [read our review here] tied its previous series low with 2.99 million viewers and a 1.0 demo rating.

Supergirl has already been renewed for a third season by The CW, where it will join fellow returning shows The Flash, Arrow and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow. However, Fox is yet to announce a renewal for Gotham, so fans – get tuning in over the next few weeks!
