Kathryn Bigelow’s Detroit gets a cast featurette

With less than a month to go until Detroit arrives in cinemas, a featurette has been released for the upcoming drama which sees director Kathryn Bigelow and stars Jacob Latimore, Nathan Davis Jr., Peyton Alex Smith, Malcolm David Kelley, John Boyega, Joseph David Jones, and Algee Smith discussing bringing the terrifying events of the 1967 race riots to the life on the big screen; take a look at the featurette here…

From Kathryn Bigelow, the Academy Award® winning director of THE HURT LOCKER and ZERO DARK THIRTY, DETROIT tells the gripping story of one of the darkest moments during the civil unrest that rocked Detroit in the summer of ‘67.

Detroit is set for release on August 4th and features a cast that also includes Ben O’Toole, Joseph David Jones, Ephraim Sykes, Leon Thomas III, Nathan Davis Jr., Peyton Alex Smith, Malcolm David Kelley, Gbenga Akinnabve, Chris Chalk, Jeremy Strong, Tyler James Williams, Laz Alonzo, Austin Hebert, Miguel Pimentel, and Kris Davis.
