New UK trailer for Borg/McEnroe starring Sverrir Gudnason and Shia LaBeouf

With less than a month to go until its arrives in UK cinemas, a new trailer has been released for the upcoming tennis drama Borg/McEnroe. Directed by Janus Metz, the film tells the story of tennis players John McEnroe (Shia LaBeouf) and Bjorn Borg’s (Sverrir Gudnason) on-court rivalry during the late 1970s and early 1980s; watch it below…

Award-winning Danish director Janus Metz brings to the screen the story of one of the world’s greatest icons Björn Borg and his biggest rival, the young and talented John McEnroe – and their legendary duel during the 1980 Wimbledon tournament.

Borg/McEnroe is set for release on September 22nd in the UK.
