Australian comedy drama Pawno gets a UK trailer

A trailer has arrived online for the UK release on the Australian comedy drama Pawno. Directed by Paul Ireland, the film stars John Brumpton, Kerry Armstrong,Tony Rickards, Maeve Dermody, Mark Coles Smith, and Damian Hill; watch it below…

PAWNO – a big-hearted, character-driven ensemble that takes place in a dusty pawnbrokers in the heart of Footscray, an inner-western suburb of Melbourne, where world-weary owner Les Underwood watches as the lives of people who come through his doors collide, change and unravel. From blossoming romance to desperate last gambles, these twelve individuals stories represent the best and the worst of one day in the life of Melbourne’s most hopeful and giddily mixed-up suburb.

Pawno is set for release on October 20th in the UK.
