As production continues on the eleventh season of The X-Files, star Gillian Anderson has tweeted out a behind-the-scenes photo from the set of the paranormal drama series which sees her alongside co-star David Duchovny and writer-director Darin Morgan, as well as revealing that actor Brian Huskey (People of Earth, Veep) will be making a guest appearance. According to Deadline, Huskey is set to portray a character called Reggie.

The eleventh season of The X-Files will run for ten episodes, and will feature mainly standalone stories, save for the season premiere and finale which will be mythology episodes. As yet, there’s no word on a premiere date, but it is expected to get underway in midseason 2018.
