X-Men spinoff The New Mutants gets a first trailer

October 13, 2017 by Amie Cranswick

20th Century Fox has debuted the first trailer for director Josh Boone’s upcoming X-Men spinoff movie The New Mutants, and – just as promised – the film certainly has much more of a horror feel than that of a superhero movie; check it out here, and let us know what you make of the trailer in the comments below…

SEE ALSO: X-Men: The New Mutants is “a haunted-house movie with a bunch of hormonal teenagers”

X-Men: The New Mutants is directed by Josh Boone (The Fault in Our Stars), and features a cast includes Maisie Williams (Game of Thrones) as Wolfsbane, Anya Taylor-Joy (The Witch) as Magik, Charlie Heaton (Stranger Things) as Cannonball, Henry Zaga (13 Reasons Why) as Sunspot, Blu Hunt (The Originals) as Danielle Moonstar and Alice Braga (Queen of the South) as Dr. Cecilia Reyes. It is set for release on April 13th 2018.
