November 14, 2017 by admin

WONDER WOMAN MOVES TO AVOID JEDIS

After the rumoured news over the weekend that Gal Gadot was refusing to sign on for the role of Wonder Woman in the sequel, Warner Bros. announced yesterday a new release date for the movie. Wonder Woman 2 will now hit cinemas on November 1st 2019, a month an a half earlier than its original December 13th date. Perhaps Star Wars: Episode IX being released a week later might have something to do with it. Read more here.

THE CROW DRAWING NEAR?

Fellow Justice League star Jason Momoa has been talking about the long-gestating reboot of 1994’s The Crow, and has hinted it will start very soon. Check out his Instagram post here.

AFFLECK LEAVING BATMAN?

The will-he-won’t-he rumours of Ben Affleck leaving The Dark Knight have been rife since the release of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. He vacated his own director’s chair, his script has been re-written and he even hinted in an interview last week that he didn’t see himself fulfilling his five-picture deal. In a new interview with USA Today, Affleck has once again spread speculation that he may leave the franchise, saying he hasn’t signed on for Matt Reeves’ The Batman yet. “You don’t do it forever, so I want to find a graceful and cool way to segue out of it,” he said. Read more here.

INFINITY WAR DIFFICULTIES

A production that hasn’t had the same issues as Justice League is Marvel’s Avengers: Infinity War. However while recently speaking at the Rhode Island Comic Con, Sebastian Stan discussed the difficulties of filming such a massive, and daunting project. “This one was really hard, because we keep going in and out,” he said. “I go back there for a week, and then I leave for a month. And then I go back there for a few more days. So it’s a little bit out of sync. But it still hopefully adds up in the end.” Read more here.

THE PUNISHER DIVIDES

The first reviews of Marvel/Netflix’s The Punisher have come out – and they’re very divided. Some think it’s the best thing Marvel have put out in The Defenders Universe, while others have compared it to Iron Fist. Read those thoughts here.

THE DEVIL RETURNS

The Devil of Hell’s Kitchen returns to production for series 3 of Daredevil this week, with Iron Fist season 2 set to start next month. Check out the first set photo (which shows very little) from Daredevil season 3 here.
