She’s been a fan favourite for the role since the release of the first movie, and has even expressed her interest on a couple of occasions, so it probably won’t come as too much of a surprise to learn that Jessica Chastain is in talks to play the adult Beverly in It: Chapter Two.
According to Variety, talks are still in an early stage, but should a deal go through it will reunite Chastain with director Andy Muschietti after she starred in his first studio horror Mama. Bill Skarsgard is also on board to reprise the role of Pennywise, while the young stars of the first movie are also expected to appear in flashbacks.
It: Chapter Two is once again being penned by Gary Dauberman, who penned the first instalment as well as the likes of Annabelle, Annabelle: Creation and The Nun. It is set for release on September 6th 2019.
