Tig Notaro joins Star Trek Discovery season 2

April 14, 2018 by Gary Collinson

Variety is reporting that Tig Notaro (One Mississippi) is set for a guest role in the second season of CBS All Access’ Star Trek: Discovery.

Notaro is set to portray Chief Engineer Denise Reno of the U.S.S. Hiawatha, and at this point its unclear how many episodes the comedian will appear in.

Notaro’s casting follows on from the news that Anson Mount (Inhumans) has joined the show as Christopher Pike, the first Captain of the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701.

Filming on the second season of Star Trek: Discovery is set to get underway this month. As yet, there’s no word on a potential premiere date.
