First multiplayer event launches for Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery

July 13, 2018 by Andrew Newton

Jam City’s Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery has become that bit more magical with the launch of the game’s first multiplayer event.  It’s time to get your wands ready as the Duelling Club is now available for those who have learned important defensive spells such as Expelliarmus, Flipendo and the Knockback Jinx.

With the Duelling Club event players will receive three tickets that will grant them access to take part in a duel against a randomly selected Facebook Connect user.  The winning player will keep their ticket for another duel and earn a special reward however, the defeated player will lose one of their tickets.

“Players have had the chance to try their hand at duelling with none other than Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery nemesis, Merula Snyde,” said Jam City Executive Producer, Amanda Heaton. “With our Duelling Club in-game event series, fans of the game will have the chance to be matched against players from all over the world.”

This first event will run through to the 15th July with other Duelling Club events taking place throughout the summer months.

Wands at the ready! Players of the mobile game Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery have learned important defensive spells in their first few years at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Players can put their spellcasting prowess to good use, in a series of multiplayer limited time events in the game, the Duelling Club.
