New gameplay video for Shadow of the Tomb Raider takes us underwater

August 10, 2018 by Andrew Newton

There’s been a fair amount of videos for Shadow of the Tomb Raider released lately showcasing a specific aspect of the game but that hasn’t stopped the developers from releasing another video to whet our appetites.  The latest video to grace our screens showcases underwater segments of the game with Lara Croft exploring a number of tunnels, sunken cities and flooded buildings.

As we can see in the video, exploring isn’t all Lara will be doing underwater, her other activities will include using waterways as a means to sneak up undetected on human enemies and facing off against some ferocious looking aquatic beasts.  Although, as expected, the biggest fight for Lara is getting her next gasp of air so be sure to look out for handy air pockets.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider will be available on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Windows PC on 14th September.  Those who pre-order will be able to play the game early from 12th September.
