Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga confirmed for Annabelle 3

October 17, 2018 by Amie Cranswick

This was to be expected, seeing as young actress Mckenna Grace (Gifted) was cast as their daughter just last month, but now we have official confirmation that Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga are set to reprise the roles of Ed and Lorraine Warren in Annabelle 3.

The next chapter of The Conjuring Universe will mark the directorial debut of Gary Dauberman, who penned the first two Annabelle movies as well this year’s other Conjuring spinoff The Nun – now the highest-grossing instalment in the popular horror franchise, with almost $360 million at the global box office.

Dauberman recently revealed that the as-yet-untitled Annabelle 3 will pick up after the first Conjuring movie as the Warrens attempt to protect their ten-year-old daughter from the spirit-possessed doll locked away in their occult artefacts room. The movie will mark the first spinoff to feature appearances from Wilson and Farmiga’s Warrens.

Annabelle 3 is set for release on July 3rd 2019.
