505 Games and Remedy Entertainment’s new trailer for Control reveals a strange world

December 21, 2018 by Andrew Newton

505 Games and developer Remedy Entertainment have revealed a strange new world in the latest trailer for their highly anticipated supernatural action adventure game Control.  This new trailer can be seen below and features narration by James McCaffrey of Max Payne and Alan Wake fame.

Control takes players to an ever-changing world filled with the strange and unexplainable and puts them in the shoes of Jesse Faden, the new director of the secret government agency, as she struggles to eliminate an otherworldly threat.

To destroy this threat, players will need to master supernatural abilities, manage modifiable loadouts and upgrades and explore the diverse environments and shifting architecture of the agency building.

Control is Jesse Faden’s story. The main plot focuses on her personal search for answers as she grows into the role of the Director. The world of Control has its own story, as do the allies Jesse meets along the way. Side-quests and Secrets are everywhere. Jesse works with other Bureau agents, decodes cryptic ciphers and discovers strange Bureau experiments.

From developer Remedy Entertainment, this supernatural 3rd person action-adventure will challenge you to master the combination of supernatural abilities, modifiable loadouts, and reactive environments while fighting through a deep and unpredictable world.

Control is set to release on Xbox One, Playstation 4 and PC in 2019.
