Diamond Comic Distributors has announced details of its bestselling comics and graphic novels of 2018, with DC Entertainment’s milestone Action Comics #1000 topping the comic book chart and Marvel’s classic The Infinity Gauntlet leading the way in terms of graphic novels, spurred on by Marvel Studios’ hugely successful blockbuster movie Avengers: Infinity War.
Meanwhile, Marvel Comics proved to be the year’s top publisher with a 38.24% dollar share and 40.40% unit share, followed by DC Entertaiment (30.04% dollar share and 33.82% unit share) and Image Comics (9.93% dollar share and 9.90% unit share).
