Universal Pictures has released a new trailer for its action blockbuster spinoff movie Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw which sees Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham’s titular characters teaming up with Shaw’s sister (Vanessa Kirby) to take down the cyber-genetically enhanced anarchist Brixton (Idris Elba) before he unleashes a virus which could wipe out half of the population, while seeking the help of Hobbs’ family along the way; check it out here…
Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw is being directed by David Leitch (John Wick, Deadpool 2) and will see the return of Dwayne Johnson (Luke Hobbs), Jason Statham (Deckard Shaw) and Helen Mirren (Magdalene Shaw) alongside franchise newcomers Idris Elba (Luther), Vanessa Kirby (Mission: Impossible – Fallout), Eddie Marsan (Ray Donovan), and Eiza Gonzalez (Baby Driver). It is set for release on August 2nd 2019.
