Johnny Depp has six months to live in trailer for The Professor

April 10, 2019 by Amie Cranswick

With just a week to go before it arrives on DirecTV, Saban Films has released a trailer for writer-director Wayne Roberts’ upcoming dark comedy The Professor which stars Johnny Depp as a college lecturer who transforms into a rebellious party animal after finding out he has six months to live. Joining Depp in the cast are Zoey Deutch, Rosemarie DeWitt, Danny Huston, and Ron Livingston; watch it here…

Johnny Depp delivers a wickedly funny performance as Richard, a buttoned-down college lecturer who, after learning he has six months to live, transforms into a rebellious party animal. To the shock of his wife (Rosemarie DeWitt) and school chancellor (Ron Livingston)—and the delight of his students—Richard leads a hilarious crusade against authority and hypocrisy in this dark comedy costarring Zoey Deutch.

The Professor is set to arrive on DirecTV on April 18th, followed by a theatrical and VOD release on May 17th.
