Marvel’s Kevin Feige confirms he wants to bring Keanu Reeves to the MCU

June 19, 2019 by Samuel Brace

Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige has confirmed that he would like to bring Keanu Reeves to the MCU.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe is forever expanding and in turn, is bringing in more high profile actors into its ranks. One star who could be next is Keanu Reeves – an actor whose popularity is seeing a true resurgence of late.

Kevin Feige, in a recent interview with ComicBook.com, was asked if Marvel Studios was talking to Keanu about a role in the MCU. Feige responded:

“We talk to him for almost every film we make. We talk to Keanu Reeves about. I don’t know when, if, or ever he’ll join the MCU, but we very much want to figure out the right way to do it.”

As revealed earlier this year, Reeves was offered the role of Yon-Rogg in Captain Marvel, but was reportedly forced to drop out due to scheduling conflicts with John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum.

Fans of the actor will surely be hoping that the perfect role for Reeves presents itself and the actor will find himself appearing the MCU sooner rather than later.
