Zendaya reveals how Thanos’ snap impacted MJ and her friends in Spider-Man: Far From Home

June 25, 2019 by Samuel Brace

Spider-Man: Far From Home star Zendaya has revealed how Thanos’ snap has impacted the life of MJ and her friends.

The events of Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame have had huge ramifications for the MCU and this includes integral characters of the upcoming Spider-Man: Far From Home.

Zendaya, who plays MJ, has spoken to Fandango (via ComicBook.com) about what Thanos’ snap has meant for her character: “[The Snap] kind of puts our characters in a special place, because now we come back and the world’s kind of changed, and we all have to kind of depend on each other a little bit more, because we’re like the oddballs now. We kind of have to confide in each other with that experience, and that’s cool.”

What else does the film have planned for MJ? Well, the actress said: “In the first movie obviously you didn’t get to see much of her, but she was like a very guarded, sarcastic, character and I think you get to see why she has that guard, and slowly watch her melt a little bit.”

It’s not long before fans can get to see the film for themselves and just what the future of the MCU might have in store. Far From Home arrives on 2 July.
