Dora and the Lost City of Gold gets a new trailer and poster

July 9, 2019 by Amie Cranswick

Paramount Pictures has released a new trailer and poster for director James Bobin’s upcoming live-action Dora the Explorer movie, Dora and the Lost City of Gold which stars Isabela Moner in the title role as the teenage adventurer; check them out here…

Having spent most of her life exploring the jungle with her parents, nothing could prepare Dora (Isabela Moner) for her most dangerous adventure ever – High School. Always the explorer, Dora quickly finds herself leading Boots (her best friend, a monkey), Diego (Jeff Wahlberg), a mysterious jungle inhabitant (Eugenio Derbez), and a rag tag group of teens on a live-action adventure to save her parents (Eva Longoria, Michael Peña) and solve the impossible mystery behind a lost city of gold.

And here’s an alternative UK trailer…

Dora and the Lost City of Gold is set for release on August 9th in North America and on August 16th in the UK and sees Isabela Moner taking on the title role of Dora alongside Jeffrey Wahlberg (Future World) as Diego, Michael Pena (Ant-Man and the Wasp) as Cole Marquez, Eva Longoria (Dog Days) as Elena Marquez, Benicio del Toro (Sicario) as Swiper, Nicholas Coombe (Midnight Sun) as Randy, Madeleine Madden (Picnic at Hanging Rock) as Sammy, Adriana Barraza (Babel) as Abuelita Valerie, Temuera Morrison (Aquaman) as Powell and Danny Trejo (Machete) as Boots.
