The first trailer for season 18 of Seth MacFarlane’s animated adult comedy series Family Guy was unveiled yesterday at the San Diego Comic-Con International, and features an appearance from Beavis and Butt-Head, Meg finding and brutally losing love on a disastrous Griffin family cruise, and Peter going through a questionable mad scientist phase; watch it here…

Meanwhile, during the Family Guy panel, MacFarlane also offered a brief update on the long (long, long, long) rumoured movie, telling fans it attendance that: “It’s on my to do list. We have a very concise, clean premise. ‘Clean’ isn’t the right word. I’ve had it in my head for ten years.”

Whether we’ll ever get to see the Family Guy movie on the big screen remains to be seen, but season 18 will get underway on September 29th.
