Angry Birds Friends flies on to the Microsoft Store

August 12, 2019 by Andrew Newton

Rovio Entertainment has released Angry Birds Friends on the Microsoft Store for all Windows 10 PCs.  This bird flinging tale of enraged avians contains all the fun of the Angry Birds experience but adds in an entertaining competitive mode with weekly tournaments against friends.

Angry Birds Friends provides all the fun of regular Angry Birds and provides several bite sized tournaments each and every week and a special themed tournament once a fortnight.

Featuring:

  • A new tournament every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
  • 12 new levels to enjoy each week.
  • Special themed tournaments every 2 weeks.
  • Defeat opponents and move on to higher leagues.
  • A leaderboard to compare your skills against friends.
  • Awesome rewards to be won.

“We’re excited to release two of our most popular Angry Birds games on Windows 10, increasing their visibility and availability during this important period,” says Alex Pelletier-Normand, Rovio’s Head of Games. “We look forward to releasing Angry Birds 2 in September, and in the meantime hope Windows 10 PC users enjoy the fun and competitive element of Friends.”

Angry Birds Friends is available now on the Microsoft Store for Windows 10 PC.  The game is available for free but there are in-app purchases available.
