Stephanie Beatriz would “die to play” She-Hulk in upcoming Disney+ series

September 18, 2019 by Liam Waddington

Brooklyn Nine-Nine’s Stephanie Beatriz has discussed fans casting her as Jennifer Walters aka She-Hulk in the upcoming Disney+ series – and she’s all in for the role.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Beatriz expressed enthusiasm regarding the titular role and felt flattered that fans even considered her in the first place.

“I would die to play that role,” Beatriz said. “That is so flattering. That is one of the best characters in that universe.”

However, not only has Beatriz noticed fans casting her as She-Hulk, but she may have already started some additional training in case she is officially cast for the role.

“I definitely have upped my workouts since reading some of those things,” Beatriz added. “But also, [I think it would] be really exciting for fans to see some of these characters that we kind of decided are one thing, to sort of be imagined in a different way.”

For anyone who doesn’t know, in the comics, Jennifer Walters is a lawyer who gains the milder version of the green superhero’s abilities after receiving an emergency blood transfusion from her cousin, Bruce Banner.

Would you like to see Stephanie Beatriz as She-Hulk? If not, who would you cast in the role? Let us know in the comments below or tweet us @flickeringmyth…
