Collector’s Edition of Resident Evil 3 is now available to pre-order

January 22, 2020 by Andrew Newton

With the launch of Resident Evil 3 just a few small months away, Capcom has revealed a Collector’s Edition that fans will love.  This Collector’s Edition can be pre-ordered now from selected retailers and will include all manner of goodies, including the obligatory art book.

Goodies to be found in the Resident Evil 3 Collector’s Edition are:

  • A physical copy of the game.
  • A high quality, highly detailed Jill Valentine figure on a suitably decorated base.
  • The obligatory printed artbook featuring the sumptuous artwork of Raccoon City and its denizens.
  • A Raccoon City map wall poster.
  • A 2 disc soundtrack.

The Resident Evil 3 remake sees one of the most iconic heroines in video gaming history, Jill Valentine, navigate the crumbling remains of Raccoon City while avoiding becoming food for the zombies and trying to stay one step ahead of the relentless Nemesis bioweapon.  Nemesis’ debut appearance had him armed with an array of high-powered weaponry which he would use without hesitation in his mission to eliminate all S.T.A.R.S. members.

As well as a nail biting main story, Resident Evil 3 will also be complemented with an asymmetrical 4 vs. 1 multiplayer game called Resident Evil Resistance. This game mode will see one player take the role of key Resident Evil characters, such as Annette Birkin, in a series of deadly experiments where they can manipulate the environment and place creatures and traps, and even directly control elite bioweapons like Tyrant.  The other four players will take the role of survivors who must work together and use their unique abilities to escape the map before the experiment runs out of time.

Resident Evil 3 Collector’s Edition is available to pre-order now.
