Skydance Interactive has announced the launch of their highly anticipated VR game, The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners.  Set within the popular Walking Dead universe, this zombie killing VR title will provide players with the unenviable task of surviving the zombie apocalypse in a flooded New Orleans.  A couple of new trailers have been released showing the gameplay and story, check these out below…

The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners  takes players to the cold, flooded ruins of New Orleans and challenges them to survive the apocalypse.  As the Mississippi reclaims the city players will not only have to protect themselves from Walkers but defend themselves from other survivors too.  Survivors will have complete freedom to do all they can to survive, from holding down a walker’s head to gain back a knife lodged in its skull to attacking from a distance with a variety of throwing weapons, bows and firearms.  The choices made depend entirely on the player but these will not only affect the combat but also the fate of the flooded city of New Orleans.

“With The The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners, we set out to create an experience that players and fans could fully immerse themselves in, which you can’t get from playing a console or mobile title,” said Adam Grantham, Creative Director at Skydance Interactive. “We wanted to give players an original story that truly belonged within The Walking Dead universe, from the environments, the narrative and the combat to make them feel as if they were truly living in this gruesome world.”

The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners is available digitally now for the Oculus Rift, Rift S, Quest (via Link cable only) HTC Vive, Cosmos, Valve Index and various WindowsMR headsets on Oculus Store, Steam and the official website.
