Archaeology skill arriving in RuneScape this March

A brand-new skill is coming to RuneScape on 30th March that will have the potential to be one of the most powerful skills in the game.  Archaeology is RuneScape‘s 28th skill, has a 120 level cap, and will begin a major expansion that sees the addition of five massive new locations to explore.

With the Archaeology skill players will be available to both RuneScape members and free players as soon as it launches and will have the opportunity to excavate and restore artefacts using their gathering abilities.  Players will be able to discover a number of different ancient relics that will unlock powerful perks, including adrenaline boosts, infinite run energy and more.  As well as relics and artefacts, players will be able to discover ancient training methods for other skills.

Players will be able to bind demonic slayers using Ancient Summoning and also use Ancient Invention which uncovers forgotten ancient technology and allows brand new devices and perks to be created from disassembled artefacts.
