February 16, 2020 by Gary Collinson

TV Line has exclusively unveiled the above image from the milestone 100th episode of Supergirl, which sees the return of Mon-El (Chris Wood) alongside regulars Kara (Melissa Benoist), Winn (Jeremy Jordan), Alex (Chyler Leigh), Kelly (Azie Tesfai) and J’onn (David Harewood).

The 100th episode, titled ‘It’s a Super Life’ and airing on February 23rd, is also set to see the return of Odette Annable as Samantha Arias /Reign and Sam Witwer as Ben Lockwood/Agent Liberty, as well as introducing a new incarnation of the villain Mr. Mxyzptlk, played by Thomas Lennon (Reno 911!).

The official episode synopsis for ‘It’s a Super Life’ reads:

Mxyzptlk returns with a proposition for Kara: What if she could go back in time and tell Lena her secret before Lex did? Would things turn out different? Looking back over key moments throughout the series, Kara must decide if she wants to change history to become friends with Lena again.

Supergirl originally premiered on CBS in 2015, before moving to its current home on The CW from season two in 2016. It airs on Sunday evenings alongside fellow Arrowverse show Batwoman.
