Agatha and the Truth of Murder gets a U.S. poster and trailer

March 21, 2020 by Amie Cranswick

Ahead of its U.S. home entertainment release next month, a poster and trailer have arrived online for the alternate history drama Agatha and the Truth of Murder which stars Ruth Bradley in the lead role as Agatha Christie and revolves around the beloved mystery writer’s unexplained 11-day disappearance in 1926.

Agatha Christie (Ruth Bradley), a young mystery novel writer, sets out to help solve a real-life murder case when a wealthy woman is found bludgeoned to death. With the help of the murdered woman’s lover (Pippa Haywood), she assumes a disguise and a trap is set for the suspects. But she soon discovers that real-life cases are harder to solve, and this killer is far more cunning and dangerous than her fictional creations.

Agatha and the Truth of Murder is available on digital from April 7th and is set for a DVD release on April 21st. Featuring in the cast are Ruth BRadley, Pippa Haywood, Dean Andrews, Bebe Cave, Tim McInnerney, Ralph Ineson, and Blake Harrison
