Erin Richards and Goran Visnjic join Dracula reimagining The Brides

March 12, 2020 by Gary Collinson

ABC’s Dracula reimagining The Brides has cast Erin Richards (Gotham) alongside Gina Torres (Suits) and Katherine Reis (Claws) as its third and final vampire sister, while Goran Visnjic (Timeless) is set to portray Bram Stoker’s legendary Count.

The series has been created by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa (Riverdale, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina) and is described as “a “sexy contemporary reimagining” of the classic horror tale and “a vampire soap about empowered, immortal women and the things they do to maintain wealth, prestige, legacy — and their nontraditional family.”

As per Deadline, the series will see “Dracula, the powerful, ageless and iconic King of Night who turned each of his three brides, left for dead at his destroyed castle in the Carpathian mountains while his three wives, Cleo (Torres), Renee and Lily (Reis), flee to start a new life together.”

Also featuring in the cast of the pilot for The Brides are Chris Mason (Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists) and Sophia Tatum (I Am Not Okay With This).
