Resident Evil 3 Remake demo arriving on Thursday, Resident Evil Resistance open beta details revealed

March 17, 2020 by Liam Waddington

Resident Evil fans will be able to get a small taste of the upcoming survival horror game Resident Evil 3 Remake, thanks to Capcom releasing a playable demo releasing on 19th March. The Resident Evil 3: Raccoon City Demo will be playable on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam.

The demo will feature a playable Jill Valentine as she teams up with Carlos Oliveira to evacuate civilians from a crumbling Raccoon City while the iconic bioweapon Nemesis hunts her down. The Resident Evil 3: Raccoon City Demo will also feature a challenging Mr. Charlie scavenger hunt which includes 20 Mr. Charlie statuettes hidden throughout the demo.

According to Capcom, completion of the Resident Evil 3: Raccoon City Dem0 will reveal a brand new cinematic trailer exclusively for participants.

Additionally, later this month, fans will also get the opportunity to play Resident Evil 3 Remake’s new asymmetrical 4 vs 1 multiplayer mode, Resident Evil Resistance, on 27th March via an open beta. The beta will feature one of the game’s four Masterminds, Daniel Fabron, and four of the six Survivors who must escape a series of deadly challenges controlled by the Mastermind before the time runs out.

The Resident Evil Resistance open beta is set to conclude when Resident Evil 3 launches on 3rd April 2020 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam.
