Xbox Games with Gold for April 2020 revealed

March 31, 2020 by Andrew Newton

After a longer than usual wait, Xbox has announced what the free Games with Gold will be for April 2020.  There’s racing, RPG enjoyment coming to Xbox One owners and classic Fable fun and toybox top down racing for Xbox 360 gamers and Xbox One gamers through backwards compatibility.

Starting tomorrow, Xbox Live Gold members will be able to experience authentic racing action with Project CARS 2.  With more than 180 vehicles, 140 tracks and a variety of track surfaces (including ice, dirt and mud) to race on, there will be no shortage of excitement.

Project CARS 2 will provide true-to-life handling, multiple game modes and dynamic weather physics to make hurtling around the track the ultimate authentic racing experience.

From 16th April players can try out the award-winning Knights of Pen and Paper and its sequel Knights of Pen and Paper II.  This turn-based pixel-art RPG puts players in the role of gamers taking the roles of their characters in a traditional pen and paper RPG.  There’s multiple classes to choose from, including knights and mages and multiple players to select such as a grandma or kid brother.

Both titles in the Knights of Pen and Paper bundle will feature loads of quests, monsters, mining, gathering, hidden treasures items and equipment to keep players occupied.

For the Xbox 360 (and backwards compatible with Xbox One) there’s Fable Anniversary.  This classic title remade for the 360 features all new textures, models and lighting to provide the definitive Fable experience.  Finally, April ends with Toybox Turbos, a top down racer featuring 35 vehicles, 18 crazy tracks to race over and six fabulous gaming modes.
