New trailer for Tour de France 2020 reveals first-person gameplay

April 16, 2020 by Andrew Newton

NACON and Cyanide Studio have released a new trailer for their upcoming Tour de France 2020 game that reveals the new first-person perspective that provides players with a more realistic cycling experience without leaving the comfort of their own home.  The game will be available on 4th June on Xbox One, Playstation 4 and for the first time on PC.  Enjoy the new trailer below….

With Tour de France 2020 players will be able to jump straight into the Pro Leader mode, create and customise their rider and take part in consecutive seasons to become the leader of the Pro Cycling ranking.  To start on their career as a professional cyclist, players will create their rider and choose their specialisation then take to the steep slopes of the world famous Tour de France.

Featuring:

  • The addition of the Liège-Bastogne-Liège (“The Old Lady”), a 266km race of steep climbs.
  • A completely redesigned interface that provides a much better anticipation of the course and position of competitors.
  • A deeper time-trial experience where ensuring correct posture and sprint management are crucial for those who want to win.
  • A more realistic AI that will take advantage of any mistakes made.

Tour de France 2020 will release on Xbox One, PS4 and PC on 4th June.  PC players will also be able to purchase the game’s sister title, Pro Cycling Manager 2020.
