Ahsoka Tano rumoured to appear in Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi series

May 19, 2020 by Samuel Brace

Ahsoka Tano is rumoured to make an appearance for the in-development Obi-Wan Kenobi show for Disney+.

Star Wars fans are excited by the reports that beloved character Ahsoka Tano will be making her live-action debut in The Mandalorian with Rosario Dawson in the role. We have also heard rumblings that Ahsoka will show up in other Star Wars projects and now there is a rumour that one of these will be the Obi-Wan Kenobi series.

Website The Illuminerdi is reporting: “According to our source on the inside of the Star Wars machine, Ahsoka Tano is being prepped to appear next in the developing Obi-Wan Kenobi series, starring Ewan McGregor. Our initial excitement wasn’t without skepticism, as we know that the series is in the process of rewrites. However, we were assured that she’s currently in negotiations and is expected to have a presence in the upcoming show. Clearly we don’t know to what degree Ahsoka will be involved in the Obi-Wan storyline, since that’s still being navigated.”

Of course, until anything is confirmed by Lucasfilm itself, it’s best to treat such reports with a pinch of salt. But considering Ahsoka and Obi-Wan’s history during The Clone Wars, this rumour isn’t unbelievable. We will have to wait and see if it pans out…
